Paper crafting is a fun and creative way to spend time, and making a box out of paper is an easy project for beginners. Here’s a quick guide to creating a basic paper box, perfect for small gifts or storage.
Materials Needed
One square sheet of paper (any size, but at least 6×6 inches for ease)
Optional: Decorative paper for a stylish touch

Steps
Fold the Paper in Half: Fold the square paper diagonally to form a triangle. Unfold and repeat with the other diagonal to create an “X” crease.
Fold the Edges to the Center: Fold each corner of the paper toward the center where the creases intersect. You’ll now have a smaller square.
Create the Walls: Unfold two opposite corners, leaving the other two folded. Fold the paper edges along the creases to start shaping the walls of the box.
Assemble the Box: Refold the unfolded corners upward to form the remaining sides. Secure the walls by tucking the flaps into the folds.
Optional Lid: To make a lid, repeat these steps with a slightly larger piece of paper.

Making paper boxes is not only a great way to recycle paper but also a practical skill. Experiment with colors and patterns to add a personal touch!
